TRACY, TOBIE SCAND FAMILY - IT IS WITH SADNESS I LEARNED OF BRUCE'S PASSING ONLY YESTERDAY. FROM WORKING FOR HIM IN FORT MADISON, I REALIZED HOW MUCH HIS FAMILY MET TO HIM AND I KNOW HOW SAD YOU ALL MUST BE TO HAVE LOST HIM SO YOUNG. WE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE YEAR PLATO PLAYED AT OUR CHRISTMAS DANCES - WE SHARED MANY STORIES OF THE FAMILIES WE BOTH LOVED. I HAD BEEN ENJOYING PHOTOS ON FACENOOK. Where to start, there will never be another Bruce ! Meeting Fro back in the seventies when my band from Kansas City had the good fortune of being booked in Moberly. The guy was truly someone who loved music as much as I did. Blessed with the voice of a Rock Star and guitar skills like a pro, Bruce was amazing to share the stage with. There was an instant respect and love for him. Bruce and Tracy would show up in places like Orlando, Montgomery, Mobile and Kansas City just to spend time with our band. I would show up to to admire the skills like no other than Fro playing with his great band. We went to concerts together with his lovely wife Tracy and spent quality time together. Bruce was a fighter like no other and was blessed to have an angel like Tracy in his corner. You will be missed every day but not forgotten. I love you Big Guy and will cherish our memories until we share the ultimate big stage in the sky!!!!! Love you buddy, Dale
Bruce was great friend and classmate. We played in a band together Bruce on guitar me on bass and Jeff Eppley on drums. Bruce and Company band. We practiced a lot. Bruce was a great motivator! We only did one gig up stairs John Gillans restaurant. Bruce sang a medley of the Righteous Brothers songs w/ Rock and Roll Heaven! There are pictures some where. Thanks for believing in me Bruce! My twin brother, Pete and I got our first job at the downtown theaters and worked with Bruce! Later in life, memories of him singing at the bowling alley lounge! A great guy who will be missed! RIP Bruce. Fondly, Polly Noel Linneman
