It’s with my deepest of condolences I send to the Eckelmann Family.
David and I worked together for many years on the RR.
We became friends during that time. I have nothing but the best memories of David.
We were not just working friends. We enjoyed many good time off the job as well.
Best conversationalist I ever knew. His wit was equal to none and never minded
giving an opinion which I truly loved even if at times I did not go along with.
That was never a problem between us or effect our friendship.
He was a man with dignity, intelligence, humorous and a straight shooter.!
And I know for certain he was a man of God.
I cherish the years we were friends. I am sadden of his departure but know
he is with others he loves and in a much better place made just for him.
I’m proud to say to you all, He was my Good Friend at a very special time in my life.!
