I’m so heart broken as we sit in the university hospital to hear the news of Clara’s passing. Our relationship developed as many have over taxes, a most painful process that Arthur Ray and Clara made fun! It was like a family reunion when tax time rolled around, and we would hear stories of their children’s lives, and hear Arthur Ray yell upstairs (before the fire) for Clara to find him something or bring him something (many times right in front of him on his desk). My wife and I grew up as our business grew and learned how to lighten their tax prep load to the point we would show up with one typed page and a few hand written notes at the bottom. They would look at and Arthur Ray spin around in his chair and tell us he would get to work on it soon or file an extension! Then the “visit” would begin of family and friends! We were never shoe “box receipt” customers. Clara would tell stories, Arthur Ray would correct or vice versa till she had to run upstairs and tend her stove or another “customer” would show up! Then our fun was over till signing time! I learned so much from them and have been impressed with their family over the years. The world will never be the same! Dawn and William Cleeton
Sorry to hear of this loss, I spent many years with the family at the local county fairs and state fair showing livestock. Great family will feel this loss but she will live on in the legacy she created. Praying for the family! Sincerely, Craig Cunningham
I didn't know Mrs. Heath, but by all the things she accomplished in her lifetime she was a very special lady, mother, wife and friend. One of her friends was Zona Crabtree, my best friend in high school...another good woman. Prayers for everyone who loved Mrs. Heath.
We met Clara and Arthur Ray when our daughter married their son. It has been a joy and a privilege to visit back and forth over the years as we shared special events and grandchildren. We also shared pictures, ideas memories, and rhubarb. The visits were not often, but always good. Our hearts and prayers go out to Arthur Ray and all the children and families.
