Bobby altered my life in 92 when he took me under his wing an gave me the skill set I still use to this day to feed my family. Against better judgment of others he chose me to work side by side with job after job. For that I am forever grateful. He was quiet an humble. Nothing was said with out thought or reflection... when asked a technical question.... the answer was always... I will have to get back with you in that. He was respected in the dragline world. I just can’t express the love I had for him.... my second sons name is Patrick Blade Peiskee.
I am so grateful he came to visit on my last dragline dismantle. This picture is in back of a 1570 Bucyrus Erie dragline that bobby helped build new in 1980. We walked the rev frame of many draglines together. This one no doubt is the most memorable.
We sold him an old truck in 94 maybe ? that reminded him of one he had as a youngster..I think he just completed the restoration a couple years ago. He was a perfectionist an he never ever gave up.
Loved him like a father, he will be greatly missed .
