Obituary of Mary Louise Bode

Mary “Louise” (Momma) Bode, 76, of Moberly, Missouri passed away, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Moberly Regional Medical Center.

Louise was born May 12, 1944 in Chariton County, Missouri to Clyde Stout and Mary (Lancaster) Stout. She married Aubrey (Bud) Bode in April 1964.

Momma loved her dog, Sarg. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, camping and all around just enjoying life.
Her family will always remember her for her sly wit, unconditional love and amazing cooking. She was a wonderful mom.

Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Bud.

Survivors include her children, Rose (Robert) Branstetter of Cairo, Missouri, Connie (Travis) Bue of Moberly, Missouri, Elizabeth Bode of Moberly Missouri and Terry Bode of Moberly Missouri; grandchildren, Chasity (Paul) Karl, Yuna Fainter, Jonathan Peacock, Robert (Summer) Branstetter, Becca (Rob) Schaedel,  Kenneth Branstetter, Carl Bode, Randall Bode, Cassidy Fainter, Justin Bode, Kasey Minnis and Samantha Williams; great grandchildren, Trey, Colin, Blake, Kali, Caleb, Izzabella, Brynnleigh, Michael, Dakotah, Faith, Aaron, Tyler, Will, Olivia, Victoria, Karson, Seth, Lewis, Cheyenne, Corey, Erica, Kimber and Alex; sisters, Betty Slagle of Macon, Missouri, Linda Little of Brookfield, Missouri, Francis Little of Shelbina, Missouri; nieces and nephews; extended family and close friends.

A graveside service celebrating Louise’s life has been scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shelbina City Cemetery, 103 S. Burlington St., Shelbina, MO 63468.
