Obituary of Jackie Owens

Jackie Lynn Owens was born in Decatur County, IA in 1950, son of Raymond “Jack” Owens and Dorothy Lynn Owens.  He passed away on January 9, 2021 at his home with his family at his side.

Jackie worked for G. E. Corp for 36 years.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and pet lover.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ottie Reid and sister, Jo Ann.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Owens Turner; daughter, Heather Owens Cable; son, Danny Owens; stepdaughter, Crystal Speak; 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Jackie’s life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 120 W. Outer Road, Moberly, MO 65270.  Condolences may be shared with the family from 2:00 p.m. at the church until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jackie’s honor are suggested by his family to the Moberly Animal Shelter, 153 W. Outer Rd., Moberly, MO 65270.
