Deborah Fry

Obituary of Deborah Fry

Deborah “Debbie” Lynne Fry, 60, of Moberly, MO went home to be with the Lord and is resting in peace and comfort on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at University of Missouri Hospital.
Debbie was born on February 22, 1960 in St. Louis, MO to Charles and Joan (Christian) Stroud. She graduated from Hazelwood West, Class of 1978 and from there attended Moberly Area Community College. When Debbie moved to Moberly, she worked as a CNA and a Pharmacy Technician for many years for Sam’s Health mart before she retired. She also was a home maker and a babysitter in her free time. She married Daniel Fry on July, 25, 2005 in Moberly, MO.

Debbie was a very caring person, who would do anything for anybody, but she would always let you know her opinion; no matter what, she would always love you through the toughest of times and the best of times. She loved to plant flowers and adored raising her dogs. But most of all, she loved being a grandmother to all of her amazing grandchildren. She was always so proud of her children, Sarah and Jimmy. Her family and friends will remember her as a friend with a straight forward attitude that you would never forget. People will always remember her for her great potato salad and Chinese food. She could be found eating for hours at our local Chinese restaurant or sitting on her porch enjoying the warmth of the sun. She never turned down a great conversation while enjoying a cigarette.

Debbie was an amazing mother, wife, MiMi, sister, aunt and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Joan; and step-son, Michael Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Fry of Moberly, MO; children, Sarah (Nathan) Straub of Moberly, MO, James (Laura) Tramontin of Moberly, MO; step-children, Brandy (Tony) Taylor of St. Louis, MO, Matthew (Meagan) Fry of Pilot Grove, MO, Danielle (Tommy) Fry of Marshall, MO; grandchildren, Nathaniel Straub II, Ella Straub, Ava Tramontin, Gracie Lynne Tramontin and Hazel Straub all of Moberly, MO, Jeremiah Fry, Bella Fry and Zoey Steward all of Marshall, MO, Kileyun Taylor of St. Louis, MO Matthew Fry Jr. of Blackwater, MO, Skyler Fry and Markus of Slater, MO; one great grandchild; siblings, Rob (Kathy) Stroud of Wentzville, MO, Carol (Ed) Huber of Old Monroe, MO, Kathy ( Brian) Morgan of Elsberry, MO; mother-in-law, Sharon Fry of Rochelle, IL; extended family and close friends.
