Dear Family of TomBo, (as that is how I remember calling him my whole life),
He was a good man and he had a great sense of humor. Each of you were blessed cause he loved you.
He was my daddy's cousin, as he was as well, with my Uncle Franklin and the three of them worked together at Land Concrete. The stories that each one of then told on each other of the mischief that these three got into would make you laugh so hard. In fact, there was many a time that one of them would start a story and they would all get so tickled that the story sometimes didn't get told for quite a spell. The three of them were race fans and I loved being around them at the race track . I was blessed by being " my daddy's boy" and getting to go to the races too. The pure joy of just being together was evident when you were around them with their laughing, carrying on and ribbing each other when their driver and car didn't take first. Even as I grew many years older, I loved to see him somewhere because he would hug me and smile that great smile of his. Wonderful memories would come flooding back. I can still hear them laughing and denying and accusing and laughing and smirking and laughing. I am grateful to God that he was a part of my life.
My heart hurts for each of you and I will say prayers for each of your life is changed and your heart has a hole that can't be filled and it hurts terribly. I am so sorry. May you feel God's grace and love, may He give you strength and may God keep you in His loving care. - Donna (White) Dunwoody
