Obituary of Henry J. Sweezer

Henry Junior Sweezer of Moberly, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He was born in Clifton Hill, MO on July, 22, 1933 to Henry and Cleo Sweezer.

He retired from the United States Army in 1975 after serving two tours in Vietnam.

His hobbies included fishing, target shooting and watching all John Wayne movies.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Ragsdale of Fulton, MO; grandson, Matthew Ragsdale of Pueblo, CO; two sisters, Peggy Winkler (Bill Rummerfield) of Moberly, MO and Barbara Straub (Bob) of Grass Valley, CA; uncle, Lowell Tremain; aunt, Carol Riley; niece, Susanne Bolin; nephew; Matthew Straub and Gerry Winkler; and his loyal and dear friend, Ron Duncan of Cairo, MO.

Per Henry’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
Inurnment will take place at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
