Obituary of Emmy-Jo Denton

Emmy-Jo Ellen Denton, 45, of Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly May 6, 2020 at her home.  She was born November 26, 1974 in Methuen, MA to Bruce Denton and Patricia (Cote) Denton. 

Her parents moved to New Hampshire when she was very young and she later attended Timberline Regional High School in Plaistow.  Emmy-Jo worked in customer service for AT&T in Tennessee before relocating to Missouri on July 4 2011.   She enjoyed playing games on her phone and because she was a paranormal enthusiast, she liked to watch ghost adventures.  Emmy-Jo loved telling people she was from Massachusetts and she had her New England accent as proof.  She was a devoted mother and fiancé who loved her family very much. 

Those preceding Emmy-Jo in death are her mother, Patricia Denton; her brother, Patrick Denton and sister, Melissa Denton.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Vallante and fiancé, Roy Leiby both of Harrisburg, MO; her father, Bruce Denton of Milton Mills, NH; siblings, Dean and Andrea Denton of Barrington, NH, Bruce Denton, Jr. of Plaistow, NH and Selena Gillenwater of Moberly, MO; extended family and friends.

Family will hold a private service at a later date.

Emmy-Jo’s unexpected passing has left her family with unexpected expenses.
