I met Jerry (Jose) at Truman's when it first opened about 15 years ago. We always had a great time. Loved to hear him sing! He would always greet me with hello beautiful or a joke like they let you out if jail? Then he would say well how you doing. Then I would ask him how he was doing, and he always said a lot better now that I saw you. And you know how to make an old redneck look good. Always made me laugh. Will miss you, but heaven must have needed an angel like you.
In the late 70's we all drove the downtown strip in the evenings. I met Jerry during those fun times, he always had a smile and a wave! Prayers to his family and friends.
