Obituary of Kenneth Kirkendoll

Kenneth John Kirkendoll, 39, of Moberly, MO passed away in his home on March 12, 2020.  Kenneth was born to Gerald and Lorraine (Ferritor) Kirkendoll on October 19, 1980 in Moberly, MO. Kenneth attended school in Huntsville, MO.

 

Although his occupation as a union painter often led to travelling the county, he considered the Moberly area his home. Kenneth and his girlfriend Debonnie Spires resided in a quiet country home in Randolph county where he pursued some of his many hobbies like hunting and fishing and playing pool in the basement. Kenneth was a devoted father of two children Kamryn Kirkendoll and Gage Kirkendoll (deceased). Kenneth was very involved with his family. He was known for just showing up and being there to help whenever anything was going on and needed to be done. Kenneth was known for being the life of any gathering. He always had a big grin and a laugh to share wherever he went. He was known for drafting participants into crazy adventures because he feared nothing! 

 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Gage Kirkendoll of Huntsville, MO and his grandfather, Kenneth E Kirkendoll (Donna) of Jacksonville, MO and dearly loved Aunt and Uncle, Mary and Leo McGrew of Lee's Summit, MO.

 

Kenneth is survived by his girlfriend, Debonnie Spires of Moberly, MO; his daughter, Kamryn Kirkendoll of Huntsville, MO; his father, Gerald Kirkendoll and mother, Lorraine (Ferritor) Kirkendoll of Huntsville, MO. Also surviving are his grandparents, Floyd and Doris Watkins of Cairo, MO; John Ferritor of Kansas City, MO and Donna (Kenneth) Kirkendoll of Jacksonville, MO; sisters, Donna (Michael) Stephenson of Huntsville, MO; Glenda Kirkendoll of Moberly, MO and Brenda Kirkendoll of Huntsville MO. He is also survived by two nephews, Devin (Jacklynn) Kirkendoll and Richard Stephenson and one niece, Jillian Stephenson all of Huntsville, MO and one great nephew, Daniel Gage Kirkendoll. Kenneth will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.  

 

A funeral service celebrating Kenneth’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hagar Cemetery in Huntsville.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
