No matter how many times the paths of Elmer and/or Peggy and myself crossed there was always a time to visit. I appreciate the warm and sincere greetings that they bestrode on me and my family as well as my parents Raymond and Anna Margaret Giesler. A simple crossing of our paths likely resulted in conversations about so many topics included our faith. Although I have not talked with Elmer in recent years there will always be a warm spot in my heart and so many memories. God bless and be with the Orscheln family.

I would like to pass my deepest sympathies to the family of Elmer Orscheln. Mr. Orscheln has a special place in my life because he was my first boss. He hired me when I was 13 to be a scorekeeper for the Moberly Optimist Club baseball leagues. I remember being so nervous when I made that phone call to ask Mr. Orscheln for the job, but his calm and reassuring voice made me feel at ease and he gave me the opportunity to become a better person. I will miss Mr. Orscheln and my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
