Charlie was born August 30, 1944 in Blackwater, MO to Clarence Huff and Gertrude M. (Ford) Huff. He moved to the Higbee area in the mid 60’s, and on February 20, 1965, he married Margaret Claggett in Marshall, MO. Charlie was a hard worker, he was the assistant manager at Baker Lumber, then he worked as Mid-Am for a few years before transitioning to Mid-West Linen where he worked diligently until he retired.
However, the job he loved the most was being a father and a grandfather, he was always the biggest kid in the room, a true trickster that all the kids loved. Even later in life, Charlie always kept his wonderful sense of humor.
In his earlier years, Charlie spent his spare time, fishing and hunting. In more recent years, he was quite found of going to the casino, rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending as much time as he could with his family and his two pups, Lilly and Lacy. Charlie lived a wonderful life, touching the lives of all he met. He will be greatly missed.
