Obituary of Sandra Skaggs

Sandra Jean Skaggs, 75, of Moberly, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at home. She was born February 4, 1944 in Moberly, MO to Glen and Harriette (Herrin) Pierce.

Sandra was a lifelong resident of the Monroe and Randolph County area. She graduated from Madison High School, where she went onto work at the Thomas Hill Power Plant until retiring in 2007. Sandra was a beloved member of the Madison Christian Church. She will always be remember for being a wonderful mother, grandmother, especially to her grandsons whom were her pride and joy, she was also not too subtle about her want for great grandbabies. Sandra had a great sense of humor and a kind heart, she will be greatly missed.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Garrison; sister, Glenda Breid; brothers, Ronald Pierce, David Pierce and Glen Dale Pierce.

Survivors include her son Jeff (Julie) Garrison of Pleasant Hill, IL; daughter in law, Renee Garrison of Moberly, MO; grandsons, Josh (Brittany Braden) Garrison of Godfrey, IL, Jacob (Michelle Meloche) Garrison of Godfrey, IL, Andrew Garrison of Kansas City, MO and Matthew Garrison of Kansas City, MO; extended family and close friends.

Private services celebrating Sandra’s life will be held at a later date.
