Obituary of June Carol Farris

June Carol Farris, 75, of Moberly passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014. June was born November 19, 1938 in Columbia, MO to Gifford Farris and Mary Ridgeway Farris. She worked at Toastmaster until her retirement. June was a lifelong resident of Moberly except for a brief time living in Colorado. She returned to Moberly to take care of her mother. Gardening and flowers were favorite pastimes. She loved animals and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Those preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, Billy Joe Farris and Donald Farris, and a sister Shirley Dunwoody. She is survived by her son, Tony Farris and his wife Joyce David Farris of Lenexa, KS, brother Jerry Farris of Columbia, MO, brother-in-law Fred Dunwoody of Moberly, two sisters-in-law, Margie Ash and Wilma Farris both of Moberly; grandchildren, Brianna, Quinn, and Connor Farris all of Lenexa, KS and Heather Nienaber (Sam) of Lake St. Louis, MO; great-grandchildren William, Samuel, Alex and Audrey Nienaber of Lake St. Louis, MO. A memorial service for June will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home.
