Obituary of Dale F. Jasper

Dale Jasper, 62, of Moberly, passed away September 23, 2014 surrounded by his family, following a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer. Dale was born December 21, 1951 in Washington, Missouri to Emil and Regina Marie Espowe Jasper. He worked as a Health and Safety Agent for MFA Oil for eighteen years. He married Jenny Fleer on February 23, 1974 in Washington, MO, and they moved to the Moberly area in 2006. Dale was a devoted family man and enjoyed attending Westran High School Football games where his son is head coach. He was a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church and was faithful in distributing Communion to residents in nursing homes. He also enjoyed praying the Rosary and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Those preceding him in death are his parents, Emil and Regina Jasper and a brother, Don Jasper. In addition to his wife Jenny; Dale is survived by his three sons, Benjamin (Kim) Jasper of New Haven, MO, Curtis (Julie) Jasper, Moberly, MO and Andrew (Cristian Valdivia) Jasper of St. Louis, MO; a brother, Ron (Bertha) Jasper and sister Jane Jacquin; grandchildren Jenna, Joseph, Claire, John Dale and Caleb Jasper; granddaughter, Brittani Rusu (Ben), and step great grandchildren Maisie, Maison and Mikhol, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 29, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Moberly at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, with a Prayer Service following the visitation.
