Obituary of Carol Sue Wright

Carol S. Wright, 73, of Moberly, entered into rest with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Carol was born September 28, 1941, in Moberly to Hugh Parker and Mabel (Broyles) Wright, who preceded her in death. She is a charter member of Timberlake Christian Church. She retired from Norfolk & Western Railway in 2001 after 35 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her brother, Donald P. Wright, of Moberly, her sister-in-law, Naomi Thompson, of Moberly, and seven nieces and nephews, Vicki (Eric) Turner of Columbia, Deborah Regan of Moberly, Steven Wright of Columbia, Kris (Ron) Gillespie, Dennis (Becky) Wright, Donna (Donald) Lewis, and Michael Wright, all of Moberly, and a number of great-nieces and nephews. She truly loved her family and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, family is suggesting memorial contributions to Hospice Compassus, 3050 I-70 Drive SE, Suite 10, Columbia, MO. Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be held at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Sugar Creek Cemetery at a later date.
