Obituary of Juanita Tremaine Brown
Juanita “Nadine” Tremaine Brown, age 83, entered into her heavenly home on February 19, 2015. She was born October 3, 1931, in Sumner, Missouri, the daughter of Mont and Mary (West) Tremaine.
She married Clifford Brown on October 9, 1949, in Moberly, Missouri. They lived in Moberly until 1960 when they moved to Middle Grove, Missouri, where they owned and operated Brown Grocery (Middle Grove Store and Garage). Nadine loved sewing, quilting, reading, gardening and cooking family meals. Her summers were spent with her grandchildren at the pool. She cared for her father-in-law and mother-in-law at her home when they could no longer care for themselves. She lived the later years of her life at the Moberly Towers where she enjoyed playing cards and eating lunch with her many friends.
She is survived by her son, Clifford Dean Brown, and his wife Sharon Kay. A special nephew, Gary Freelin, and his wife Cindy (Bonhom). Grandchildren, James A. Brown, Alesha Hafemeister (Eric), Chris Conley (Staci), and Regina Conley. Great grandchildren, Andie Brown, Kyler and Kaden Hafemeister, Elizabeth and Emilee Conley, and MacKenzie Bonhom. A brother, Lowell Tremaine, and his wife Marie of Streator, Illinois, a sister, Carol Riley, of Middle Grove, Missouri, and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her family and many friends.
Memorial services for Nadine will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO. Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2015 at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
