Obituary of Barry Smith

Barry Smith, 58, of Moberly, passed away July 8, 2015 at Valley View Nursing Home. He was born November 4, 1956 in Moberly to Bobby Smith and Betty Adkisson Smith. Barry moved back to his hometown in the 1970’s where he worked for several local businesses, including Wilbert Vault Company, Wilson Trailer and the Moberly Public Schools, where he worked as a custodian until his retirement. When he wasn’t working, Barry enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys football and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games and listening to music. Barry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brady Smith. He is survived by his brothers Bob Smith, Bill Smith (Susan), and Bruce Smith, all of Moberly; children, Jennifer Fox (Diana Roberts) of Moberly, David Regal of Chicago, and Cody Smith (Abby) of Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster; and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
