Obituary of Sharon L Willis

Sharon L. Connors Willis, 87 passed away on July 21, 2015 after a long illness. She was born to Jack H. and Jo Goode on January 20, 1928 in Milan Mo. She graduated from high school in Moberly and attended Moberly Junior College where she was the 1947 Homecoming Queen. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Sharon worked at Commerce Bank as a teller and later at Citizens Savings in the same position and retired from Community Federal Savings & Loan as a Branch Manager. She enjoyed going to sales and collecting antiques, she also loved being with her family. Sharon was married to Richard (Dick) Connors on October 10, 1948 until his death on August 4, 1972. On August 27, 1975she married Lenwood (Lindy) Willis who also preceded her in death on August 27, 1999. Also preceding her in death is a brother Jack Goode. Surviving Sharon, are her sons; Mike Connors of Moberly, Chris Connors (Traci) of Vero Beach FL, granddaughter Amiee Connors of Moberly, two great grandsons Tyrek Hayes and Gaige Embree both of Moberly, and several nieces and nephews. Services celebrating Sharon’s life will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will held Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
