Obituary of Willis W. Peery

Willis W. Peery, 70, of Moberly, MO, passed away September 29, 2015 after a short illness. He was born August 8, 1945 in Trenton, MO, the son of Kenneth W. Peery and Clara Maye Cooper Peery. On November 15, 1970 he married Paula Paul in Adair County, MO. Willis worked as an assistant manager at Bridgestone/Firestone Tire Company for thirty-two years. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. In his spare time he enjoyed photography. His family jokingly said if anything was a hobby, he had tried it at least once. Some of his interests included electronics, computers, R.C. cars, guns, and when he was younger, golf. His father Kenneth preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Paula; daughter Laura Hunt (Michael); mother Clara Peery; grand-daughter, Alana Hunt all of Moberly; aunts Catherine Rossen of Brookfield, MO and Willa Gwinn of St. Joseph, MO; as well as extended family and many close friends. Services for Willis will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
