Obituary of Jessica L Bowen and Kelsey A Bowen
Kelsey Annette Bowen, 16 and Jessica Leanne Bowen, 22, both of Moberly, passed away November 21, 2015.
Jessica and Kelsey were both born in Moberly, to James and Cheryl Bowen-Jessica on November 4, 1993 and Kelsey on March 29, 1999.
Jessica would have graduated from the Columbia Career Center with her degree in nursing in 2016. She was an amazing daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She was full of life, very positive and caring. Jessica loved horses, singing, her job and especially her boyfriend Michael Green, (Tank). Her family and friends will always remember her beautiful smile. Those who knew her said she loved unconditionally and she enjoyed making people laugh.
Kelsey was a junior at Moberly High School. She was an amazing daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She enjoyed being outdoors, playing SIMS on the computer, and spending time with her mother and sister. Her family and friends will remember Kelsey as a quiet, beautiful, loving and innocent person.
Kelsey and Jessica were preceded in death by their maternal great-grandparents; Ora Lee and Tom Bode and Mildred and Ivory Haynes; their paternal great-grandparents, Edith and JE Crawford and Mary and Gilbert Bowen, a cousin and two aunts.
They are survived by their parents, James and Cheryl Bowen and their brother Zachary Bowen, all of Moberly; Jessica’s boyfriend, Tank, also of Moberly, extended family and many, many friends.
Services for Jessica and Kelsey will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Moberly High School Auditorium followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 also at the high school auditorium.
