Obituary of Anna Chaloupka
Anna Chaloupka, 82, formerly of Higbee, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Brook Cherith Assisted Living in Huntsville.
Anna was born August 11, 1933 in Sailor Springs, Illinois to Robert and Clara McKinney Tolbert. She enjoyed coloring, scrapbooking and she loved NASCAR’s Tony Stewart. She became a fan of Tony’s after she started watching NASCAR races with her son Robert. Anna cherished her family and made it a point to become involved in things her family was interested in. Her family always came first. In her spare time, she also enjoyed shopping for knick knacks at Dollar General.
Those preceding her in death are her parents, her husband George Chaloupka, four sisters, five brothers, an infant son Gerald and daughter Ruth Sullivan.
She is survived by her children: Betty (Kent) Peterson, Des Moines, IA, Diane(Derrick) Haley, Moberly, MO, Shirley (Lyle) Blackman, Windsor Heights, IA, Janice (Dan) Wassmuth, Cairo, MO, Richard (Faith) Chaloupka, Cairo, MO, Charlene (Brett) Slade, IA, and Robert (Lisa) Chaloupka of Huntsville, MO; grandchildren Emily (Adam), Samantha, Tabetha (Doug), Justin, Shawna, Chris (Angie), Dustin (Tonda), Amanda (Brandon), Nathaniel (Marli), Bryce, Brianna, Katie, Abby, Kelly, Jesse (Natchaya), Karl, Rebecca (Miguel), Melissa, Scott; great grandchildren Lily, Alex, Rion, Mallorie, Alaina, Rylan, Emery, Erabella, Alarick, Drew, Braden, Cheyanne, Kingston, Perissiya, Eva, Chaiya, Kiana, Arianna, Phoenix and Oliver; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service for Anna will be Saturday February 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home followed by a private interment in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation for Anna will be Saturday February 20, 2016 from 1:00 until time of service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Brook Cherith Assisted Living, 104 E. Elm, Huntsville, MO.
