Obituary of Robert Wayne Chase

Robert (Robbie) Wayne Chase, 48 of Clark, MO crossed the finish line on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO completing his earthly race and beginning a new journey. He was born on Monday, December 25, 1967 in Sedalia, MO to Linda (Stuck) Altenburg and Paul Chase. Rob married Kristina (Milnes) Chase on Saturday, July 1, 1995 in Clark, MO and she survives at their home. Also, surviving are his children, Michael and Erin Chase of Clark, MO; his grandpa Marvin Stuck of Macon, MO; his parents Linda and Edward Altenburg of Anthony, KS and Paul and Sherry Chase of Huntsville MO; his sister Paula Rudicil of Anthony, KS; his step-sisters Teresa Derboven of Madison, MO and Lee Ann (Edward) Wray of Columbia, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Stuck and Tom and Helene Chase. Rob worked for Magic City Glass in Moberly, Missouri since 1995. He graduated from Westran High School (Huntsville) in 1986. He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He loved Fords, the outdoors, camping, running, biking, skiing, tubing, hiking, history, learning, racing, radio control airplanes and trucks and spending time with his family and friends. By being an organ donor he continues to run the race by helping others and living on through them. Funeral services celebrating Rob’s life will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Rob’s memory may do so in care of Bank of Cairo and Moberly, P O Box 547, Moberly, MO to be used for scholarship funds for Michael and Erin. .
