Obituary of Carroll Francis Hulen

Carroll Francis (CF) Hulen, 83, of Moberly, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Macon HealthCare Center, Macon, MO. CF was born May 29, 1933 to Mason Enoch and Jenny Campbell (Sappington) Hulen. He married his wife, Evelyn (Rifenberg) in Moberly on July 14, 1954. He was a 1951 graduate of Centralia High School. His career began at Narrangansett Gym Co., later known as Everlast. CF served in the US Army from 1953-1955 and was stationed at Fort Banks in Wintrop, MA. After his time in the Army, CF returned to Everlast to continue his career as a machinist. He was a hard worker and was later promoted to plant manager. He was greatly respected by his employees. CF retired in 2000 after 34 years of service. He was an avid wood worker, building furniture and crafts, loved watching Cardinal baseball and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. CF was very proud of his daughter and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of the home, daughter Carol (Jason) Milhollin of Moberly; grandchildren Taylor Gallatin, Sophia Milhollin, and Liam Milhollin. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Ruth and Marion, and brothers Carl, Stanley, Ralph, and Robert. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Services honoring CF’s celebration of life will be Friday at 10 a.m. with committal prayers and burial following at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
