Obituary of Lonnie Ray Collins

Lonnie Ray Collins, 70, passed away January 26, 2017 at Valley View Nursing Home. Lonnie was born January 18, 1947 in Randolph County to Wilbur Collins and Maxine Brockman Collins. He was a lifelong resident of Randolph County and graduate of Moberly High School where he played baseball and football. Lonnie married Barbara Lyons at Trinity United Methodist Church in Moberly on March 27, 1970. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Old Milton. Lonnie loved fishing, gardening, all sports, and volunteered as a softball coach for his daughter and a baseball coach for his son. Those preceding him in death are his parents and a sister Ronda Mallory. He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home in Moberly; children Angie and Glenn Nichols of Moberly, and Lonnie II and Jennifer Collins of Menomonie, WI; grandchildren Brooke White, Brandon Nichols and Kylie Collins all of Moberly, Lily Collins, Leah Collins, Brett Collins, Lainie Collins all of Menomonie, WI, Katey and Jason Stuck of Macon, MO, Eli Wilhite, Emily and Josh Mayne and Andrew Wilhite all of Menomonie, WI; great grandchildren Brayden, Arilynn, Max and Liam. Memorial service will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
