Obituary of Carol Jean Hendren
Carol Jean Hendren, 73, of Madison, passed away at her home February 11, 2017. Carol was born November 7, 1943 in Pawhuska, OK to George Thomas Hull and Ethel Josephine Clapper Hull. She attended school in Paris, MO and was a graduate of Paris High School. In June of 1963 she married James Robert Hendren, who precedes her in death.
Carol worked as a supervisor for A.B. Chance in Centralia for 35 years and was later a custodian at Madison School for two years. She was proud of her heritage as a member of the Potawatomi Nation. Carol’s grandchildren were a great joy to her. She enjoyed her pets; her cat and dogs.
Those preceding Carol in death, in addition to her husband, are her parents and a brother, Joe Hull.
She is survived by her children; John Hendren Sr. (Dee Dee) and Mark Hendren (Julie Colton) all of Madison; grandchildren Kelsey Hendren, James Hendren, John Hendren Jr.(Niki Sims), and Josh Hendren, all of Madison, and great grandchild Remington Hendren of Madison; siblings Calvin Hull of Moberly, Cliff Hull (Audra) of Moberly, Delma Martin of Clarence, MO, Paul Hull, Phillip Hull (Cathy), Ken Hull, Dale Hull (Janice) all of Moberly; extended family and friends.
Services for Carol will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly with interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association, Mid-Missouri Chapter, 2400 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, MO 65201.
