Obituary of Angelia Denise Kitchen
Angelia Denise Kitchen, age 50, of Moberly passed away March 25, 2017 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Angelia was born May 24, 1966 in Columbia, MO to Robert Joseph Thorp and Beverly Ann Hess Thorp.
Angelia lived in the Moberly area the majority of her life. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She loved to shop for and was a collector of many things, especially unique items. The family said she would even sometimes find a bargain and purchase it to give to someone because she knew they would want it. She was known as a spiritual person, a free spirit and a hard worker. She worked in food service for many years. She loved her customers and they loved her. After working at Cracker Barrel for three years, she was chosen to go to Utah to assist in opening a new store.
Angelia is preceded in death by her father, Robert Thorp; Sons, Garrett Evan Moore and Adam Luther Kitchen and niece Sydney Kathleen Danielle Thorp.
Survivors include her mother Beverly Thorp; son, Brandon Wade Kitchen; siblings Robert (Veronica) Thorp, Debra (James) Ingram, Andrea (Wayne) Swindler, Shawnda (Scott) Komer; grandchild, Addison Breanne Kitchen, a special lifetime friend, Dennis Moore, extended family and close friends.
A memorial visitation celebrating Angelia Denise Kitchen’s life will be held Wednesday, March 29th 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends for fellowship, food and sharing of memories will follow at the VFW from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on South Morley, Moberly, MO.
