Obituary of Kimberly Marlene Schumann
Kimberly Marlene Schumann, 21 of Moberly, passed away May 19, 2017.
Kimmie was born December 31, 1995 in Columbia, MO to William K. and Mercia R. (Kamplain) Schumann. She was a 2014 graduate of Westran High School and worked in Columbia as a legal administrative assistant for Columbia Family Law Group. Kimmie was a member of St. Pius X in Moberly. She was very social and involved in her community. She often volunteered for Relay for Life and supported the American Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Kimmie enjoyed competing in pageants and participating in various sports. She also enjoyed decorating, crafting, cooking (especially her Blankberry Muffins – family joke), photography, Sunday family gatherings and kickball games, and boating and camping with her family.
Kimmie had a heart of gold and always wanted to help others. She had a warm smile and infectious laugh, making her a delight to be around. She will be missed by many!
Kimmie is preceded in death by her brother, Darik; cousin, Megan Schumann and grandfather, David Kamplain.
Survivors include her parents, Willie and Mercia Schumann of Jacksonville; her siblings, Tyler K. Schumann and future sister-in-law, Cynthia Erwin of Columbia, and Cassandra E. Schumann of Jacksonville. Grandparents, Charles and Rhonda Schumann of Moberly, and Mary Finn of Springfield, and aunts and uncles, Theresa (Tim) Armentrout, Chuck (Andrea) Schumann, Michael (Johnna)Schumann, Sarah (Kyley) Mefford, Demetrius and Sergio Chapman and David M. Kamplain; cousins, Lindsey (Troy) Skinner, Alaina, Benjamin, and Luke Armentrout, Mitch (Camille) Schumann, Austin, Evan, Jackson, and Lane Schumann, Matthew, Dillion, and Brandon Schumann, Hannah, Rebekah, and Aliciah Mefford, Alexis Warren, Ethan Kamplain, Stoney Chapman, Gavin Chapman and Rain Chapman; extended family and close friends.
Services celebrating Kimberly’s life will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
