Obituary of Marsha Pool
Marsha Pool, 57, of Moberly, passed away at her home August 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Marsha was born in Liberty, MO to Donald Lewis and Diana Summer Lewis on February 5, 1960. She lived in Randolph County her entire life and was a graduate of Westran High School. On August 22, 1981, she was united in marriage to Sammy Pool at the First Christian Church in Huntsville.
Marsha worked as a waitress for many years. She loved her customers and they loved her. She was known for her quick wit and “gift of gab”. She was a member of First Christian Church in Huntsville. Marsha liked to collect Precious Moments figurines and had a massive shot glass collection. She enjoyed crocheting and watching TV, and loved spending time with her husband and cat Phoebe.
Those preceding Marsha in death are her maternal and paternal grandparents, her father Donald Lewis, nephew Jared Michael Lewis, and father-in-law Sam Pool Sr.
She is survived by her husband Sammy of the home; parents Diana and Dennis Prewitt of Huntsville; daughter Samantha Pool of Colorado; siblings, George Lewis and Harold (Jo) Lewis all of Moberly, Cindy (John) Hess of Higbee, Susan (Michael) Smith, Denise Prewitt, all of Huntsville, Denni Prewitt of Columbia, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 2413 Hyde Park Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
