Obituary of Glenn Edward Fox

Glenn Edward Fox, 75, of Moberly passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 19, 1944 in Chariton County to Fountain and Milda (Kothe) Fox. Glenn was a graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia, MO and later attended college in Kirksville. He served his county honorably in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1968 during the Vietnam War. He relocated to the Moberly area and began working for Beck, moving mobile homes. Glenn bought out Beck, became self-employed and established Fox Hollow Mobile Home Park. In later years he worked for Moberly Lumber before retiring. On November 29, 1997 he married Patsy Walters Gay at Carpenter Baptist Church in Moberly. Glenn liked bowling, fishing, flower and vegetable gardening. After retirement he spent many hours working in his backyard. Glenn loved to spend time in his pool when his health allowed. Patsy called him a “water baby”. He played the bass guitar and became a “techie” who enjoyed working on computers. Glenn was a hard worker and a man of many talents. He will be greatly missed! Preceding him in death are his parents; a sister and two brothers. Survivors include wife, Patsy Fox of Moberly, MO, son, Glenn (Stacy) Fox II of Brunswick, MO; step-son Tom (Ann) Gay of Moberly, MO; grandchildren, Tony (Katie) Perrin of Springfield, MO, Leila Evans of Florida, Katy (RaShawn Davis) Evans of Kansas, Kathy Fox and Sierra Fox both of Brunswick and Glenn Fox III stationed in North Carolina; great grandchildren; Jordan Fox, Leeland Evans, Elyjah Davis and Evalyn Perrin; extended family and friends. Services celebrating Glenn’s life will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
