Obituary of Andrew Cade

Our beloved Andrew Cade transitioned on to Glory December 16, 2017 in Chicago at the age of 61. Andrew also known as Andy boy was born November 13, 1956 in Moberly MO to Bessie Mae Cade-Doughty Andy boy attended Moberly High School and graduated in 1975. He then enlisted in the United States Marines on July 2, 1978. He completed basic training at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. During his military career he obtained a grade SPL E4 and later became a recruiter for the Marines. In 1985, Andy boy moved to Chicago and began working at the U.S. Post Office where he retired in 2004 after 20 years of service. He started his own business, American Standard Home Inspection Services in 1999. In which, he was still currently active. April 24, 2009 Andy boy married the love of his life Adrienna Bell and she survives to cherish his memories. Also surviving are his two sons, Christopher Brown (Karen) of O’Fallon MO and Andrew Cade Jr of Hawaii; three granddaughters who call him “Pa Pa Andrew”, Sidney, Suzanne and Sylvia; Brother James Cade (Miranda) of Moberly; three sisters Faye Singleton (Ron) of Moberly, Vivian Doughty and Sandra Cade-Gatlin (his twin) of Columbia. Other survivors include his Mother-in-law, Verblean Bell and former Mother-in-law Grace Matthews both of Chicago; Uncle Roscoe Robinson; Aunt Hattie Reynolds; Brother-in-law Joseph Staten; Sisters-in-law Mary (Katie) Cade and Emma Watson; God daughter Ayana and a special Great-Niece Denaja Scott and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. Andy boy was preceded in death by his parents, two Brothers Alfred Cade Jr. and Oscar Watson; and a sister Marie Staten. Andy boy was an ordained minister and also enjoyed teaching hypnosis, bartending and truck driving. Andy boy had such a sense of humor and a zest for life and he loved his family. His greatest joy came from his many trips home for family gatherings. He was always the life of the party and he will be greatly missed. Home going services will be Saturday, December 23, 2017. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the services will follow at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly MO followed by full military honors.
