Obituary of Samuel Arvie Stuck

Samuel Arvie Stuck, 69, of Moberly, passed away at Moberly Regional Medical Center May 9, 2018. Samuel was born in Moberly to W. Frank Stuck and Helen M. Poe Stuck on the 12th day of June, 1948. Sam was a graduate of Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas and worked as an OSHA inspector for the state of Missouri. He attended the Central Christian Church in Moberly. Sam was a member of Moberly Rotary Club and a board member of the Senior Americans Multi- Purpose Center. He was a devoted fan of the game of Bridge and an accomplished player. In his spare time, he also enjoyed shooting pool with friends. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, W. Frank and Helen M. Stuck. He is survived by his brother, David Stuck of Moberly; cousins, Belva Sue McCormick Serio and Charlie Serio, Hazel and Tommie Downey, Carl and Ima Jean Armstrong and Leslie Mitchell all of Moberly; aunt, Dorothy G. Poe of McMinnville, OR; good friends Austin Steffe and Drew Haught both of Springfield, MO; extended family and friends. Funeral service for Samuel will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Central Christian Church in Moberly at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home.
