Obituary of Frank L. Watson
Frank Watson died June 28, 2018 at the age of 96. Frank studied engineering at the University of Oklahoma. In 1952 he received an MA degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary and in 1958, the B.D. degree. Frank served in the US Air Force in WWII and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the reserves. Frank was one of the first professors at Central Christian College of the Bible and taught there for six years. After earning a BSE in General Science, he taught a year at Centralia, MO before coming to Moberly High School where he taught math and science classes. He retired from teaching in 1981. In 1960 he married the former Margie Self, who survives.
Other survivors include two children, Dawn (Todd) Beaverson and Andy (Kristie) Watson, as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by full military honors and interment in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
